DOWNLOAD TROUBLESHOOTING
1. I can't find the file I just downloaded.

PC:
-Look on your Desktop.
-Look in your "c:\My Documents" folder
-Look in c:\downloads
-Look in c:\My Downloads

If they aren't in any of these locations go to
-Start Menu:
-select "Search" or "Find" (Icon looks like a piece of paper with a magnifying glass next to it) .
-select "For Files or Folders…"
-All the files matching your search will either appear to the left or bottom of your search criteria.
-If it appears drag it to your desktop and double click the file.

Mac:
-Look on your desktop
-If it's not there, go to the "Finder" and under the "Edit" menu select "Find," or select [control]+[f]. The files matching your search criteria will be displayed in a list below. When you see the file drag it to your desktop or somewhere you won't lose it.

2. How does my connection speed relate to downloading?

Basically, the faster your connection speed, the less time it's going to take to download. For example: a 3-megabyte mp3 would, on average take about 7 minutes to download. The same file would take less than one minute on a Cable or DSL modem.
